Painting a King Winter's Birthday Window Display at Mainstreet Trading Co.

The fantastic folks at The Mainstreet Trading Company on the Scottish Borders invited Emily up to their warm and wonderful bookshop to help launch King Winter’s Birthday, the new picture book Emily worked on with author Jonathan Freedland.

Emily complemented the shop’s cutouts of some of the book’s characters with swirls of colour and swishes of snow and tree branches to frame in paint the stunning display.

Emily, with her faithful dog Mouse in tow of course, then signed stacks of the book for sale in the shop. The book is now on sale on her website as well: just go to the Picture Books section!
