Christmas at Castle Howard 2023: Emily's Neverland

Take the second star to the right, and straight on to Castle Howard! On Christmas 2023, audiences delighted as they got lost on a magical adventure in Neverland: a Christmas experience like no other.

Emily Sutton’s glorious illustrations and some truly magical decorations took us deep into the adventure of a lifetime bursting with fairies, mermaids, and pirates. Vast ships cruised into the castle’s great galleries, Lost Boy laughter echoed through the halls, and the castle’s many beautiful rooms were transformed into tropical lagoons. 

CLW Event Design, the creative team behind Christmas in Narnia and Into the Woods: A Fairytale Christmas, were behind the creation of Castle Howard’s most magical Christmas experience yet – with beautiful theatrical installations, stunning projections and immersive soundscapes bringing JM Barrie’s much-loved story and characters to life.
